Australia Post Secure Parcel Collection

Want a safer and more convenient way to receive your online orders? Australia Post offers a network of more than 4,800 collection points, giving you the option to have your parcels delivered to a secure location instead of being redirected to an inconvenient collection point if you're not available at the time of delivery.

Depending on the location, you can choose from 24/7 Parcel Lockers, Post Offices and parcel hatches when placing your online order. And now, you don't need to organise this prior to placing your order with AdultShop, you can simply choose your delivery location and let Australia Post handle the rest when your parcel is delivered.

Let's step through the process to show you just how easy it is.

Firstly, when you reach the Checkout page you will notice the Australia Post deliver option (show below). Simply click on the 'Choose' button to start searching for your best delivery option.

Next you will be prompted to search by suburb or address, so start typing in your address and you will notice a drop down list appear (shown below) showing potential matches as you type. Once you see your correct address in the list, click on it to select it.

A pop-up will now show a list of the nearest Australia Post collection points to your address (shown below). The list will also highlight some of the features of each collection point, such as 'Extended hours', '24/7' etc. so you can determine which location offers the services and accessibility that best suits your needs. If the device you're using has a large enough screen you will also see a map showing each of these available collection points as pins on the map, so you can visually see where the are located relative to your address.

Once you have decided which collection point will work best for your needs, simply click on the 'Collect here' button shown for that location in the list, or shown when you click on the pin on the map.

You will now be returned to the Checkout page and see your selected delivery point listed in a green coloured pane (as shown below). The collection point address details have also been prefilled into the address fields in the Checkout form for you.

At this point if you change your mind and would like to choose a different collection location, simply click on the 'Change collection point' button and you'll be able to go through the previous step again to find a more suitable collection point. Or, if you've decided you no longer require this service and just want to supply your own address, you can click on the 'Switch back to home delivery' link and enter your own address manually.

If you do continue with your selection of an Australia Post secure collection point please note that you MUST supply your email address and MOBILE phone number (not a land line number) so Australia Post can send you the access code required to collect your delivery.

Australia Post will notify you once your parcel arrives. Use the access code provided in your notification to retrieve your parcel within the next 2 business days. If you don’t collect it within that time, it will be transferred to the nearest Post Office, where it will be held for 10 business days.
